Yehezkel Abada (the ancestor- ראש המשפחה) ENGLISH: The roots of the Abada family, begin in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. There was always an important Jewish community in this country, since the biblical exodus to Babel. In the end of the 19th century, all the middle east was part of the Ottoman empire. Then Yehezkel Abada, his wife and 7 children, (all boys), emigrate to Egypt, thru Lebanon and Palestine. It is known that the youngest boy (Albert) was 2 years old. So, the family arrived in Egypt in 1904. The family lived in Tanta, a city in the Nile delta, north of Cairo. Later on, after the boys marriages, they moved to Cairo.
