Biography
Born in Baghdad, emigrated to Egypt in 1881 with parents,brothers,sisters. Married in Cairo (Mar1885) to Marietta (Miriam) Attar.They lived in Luxor, then in Cairo,.Only 5 children survived to advanced age, but many died very young. He died in Cairo at his daughter’s (Esther) appartment, 2 July 1937, aged 74 years old.
