Biography
Farha (Freha) Sasson, daughter of Khalifa Sasson and Semha Meyer,is born in Baghdad (Iraq) in 1867. This appears from the registration of her family in the registers in the French Embassy in Cairo, the 16 September 1881. See copy of immatriculation document here down in her pictures album. Married to Menashe Ambar, in Cairo, they had 6 children. Her husband Menashe Ambar is a descendant of Reuben Ambar, whose family is registered in “Beth Hatefutsoh”, Tel Aviv, under tree No. 138.
