Born in Uzhgorod, married to Paula Steinmetz. Worked together with his wife in the hat making business and was a Sales agent. Was known as Jewish Scholar and could have been a rabbi if he wanted to. Was sent, together with the other jews of his town to Auschwitz in 1944 and died there with his wife and his small child Gabi.
