Community settlement in northern Israel, under the Zevulun Regional Council. The name Nofit (נוֹפִית) means “Scenic” in Hebrew — the village sits on a hillside overlooking the Zevulun Valley and Haifa Bay. It was founded in 1987, when the first 179 families moved in on 9 November of that year. By 2023 it had grown to a population of around 2,400.

The Gal family has been rooted here since its early days — Yossi Gal raised his family in Nofit, and several of his children grew up, studied, and married here.
