Biography
Maurice Cohen, is the eldest son of David and Warda Cohen. His brothers are :Elie, Joseph, Jack,… his sisters are :Fortuna, Alice. On 22.2.1931, married to Esther Sasson … They lived in Heliopolis, Cairo, and had a store of house ware goods. In 1950 the family emigrated to Israel with their 5 children, Maurice (Moshe) Cohen loved Israel, and agreed to live in an agicultural environment in the middle of nature. At their arrival in Israel, they lived in a new settlement called “Beit Zait”, It is a splendid place , in the middle of the beautiful mountains surrounding Jerusalem. He worked as a guardian in the Keren Kayemet Le Israel, In the sixties, the family moved to the city of Holon, where he died on the 21.2.1985, aged 84 years old.
